NED vs NEP: Netherlands Clinches 6-Wicket Win

In the seventh game of the T20 World Cup 2024 between NED vs NEP at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on Tuesday. The Netherlands defeated Nepal by 6 wickets.

In the NED vs NEP, the Dutchmen have to chase a target of 107 runs set by Nepal, the target was successfully chased by the Netherlands in the 19th over of the innings by Max O’Dowds who remains unbeaten 54 runs on just 48 deliveries.

Scott Edwards and his team had to work hard to chase the target set by the Nepalese bowlers, but O’Dowd stayed strong at one end.

Vikramjit Singh was another key batter, scoring 22 runs from 28 balls.

Sompal Kami, Abinash Bohara, and Dipendra Singh Airee took a wicket for Nepal.

Earlier, Logan van Beek shone with three wickets, and captain Tim Pringle also took three as Nepal was restricted to 106 after batting first.

Nepal didn’t start well. Pringle dismissed wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh, and Kushal Bhurtel was out for 7 runs off 10 balls, falling lbw to van Beek.

Anil Sah added 11 runs from 12 balls but was caught by van Beek off Pringle’s bowling.

Captain Rohit Paudel made a strong effort with 35 runs from 37 balls but was eventually dismissed by Pringle. Gulsan Jha added 14 runs at the end, and Karan KC scored 17 runs from 12 balls, hitting two sixes.

Pringle finished with figures of 3/20 in his four overs, while van Beek had 3/18. Paul van Meekeren bowled well too, taking 2 wickets for 19 runs in his 4 overs, and Bas de Leede took 2 wickets for 22 runs.
