Further fixture details will be announced once the Election Commission of India finalizes the dates for the national elections, expected in April and May.
The preliminary schedule includes four double-headers, with two on the opening weekend. On March 23, Punjab Kings will play against Delhi Capitals during the day, followed by Kolkata Knight Riders hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad at Eden Gardens.
On March 24, Rajasthan Royals will take on Lucknow Super Giants, while Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians will begin their campaign with an away match against Gujarat Titans, his former team.
It’s worth noting that the Capitals will not have any home games at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi during the March 22-April 7 period. Instead, both matches will be held at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
In the upcoming 17-day period, the teams Capitals, Titans, and RCB will play five of their 14 matches, while KKR will only play three matches. The other franchises will have four games each. It is expected that Punjab Kings will play their home games at a new venue in Mullanpur, located on the outskirts of Chandigarh, instead of their usual home in Mohali.
