Former English cricketer Nasser Hussain predicts that Pakistan will likely suffer a defeat against the Netherlands in their ICC match.

During a conversation on a YouTube channel, Nasser specifically emphasized Pakistan’s opening match against the Netherlands in the upcoming tournament. He acknowledged the possibility of Pakistan encountering a potential defeat against the European team.

“I believe Pakistan is a formidable tournament team. They are starting with a match against the Netherlands, which they could potentially lose. That’s just how Pakistan cricket goes. However, once they get going, they tend to build momentum. Take the last World T20, for example. They seemed out of contention and found themselves in the final. Pakistan’s cricket is mercurial, reflecting its unique brand and style of play. They are an incredibly captivating team to watch,” Nasser Hussain stated.

Additionally, Nasser highlighted that Pakistan could become a formidable force in the World Cup if they manage to post scores that exceed the expected standards against any opponent.

“If they can put up a score above what’s typically expected when facing any team in the World Cup, you’re going to be in trouble,” he concluded.

Pakistan is scheduled to face the Netherlands on October 6th. This match will mark Pakistan’s debut in the ICC World Cup 2023.
