New Zealand vs Pakistan: Injury Woes Continue for Kiwis Before T20 Showdown

New Zealand vs Pakistan: In a setback for the BLACKCAPS ahead of the third match in the KFC T20 Series against Pakistan, Josh Clarkson won’t be joining the squad due to a shoulder injury suffered while playing for the Central Stags in the Dream11 Super Smash.

New Zealand Cricket has confirmed that Will Young will now step in for Clarkson as they gear up for the upcoming match at Dunedin’s University of Otago Oval.

Originally, Clarkson was expected to be part of the squad for the third game, especially with captain Kane Williamson skipping the Dunedin match but planning to rejoin for the final two matches in Christchurch. However, the unfortunate injury has led to a change in plans.

Will Young be included in the squad after tomorrow’s match at Hamilton’s Seddon Park, as the teams head to Dunedin on Monday from Hamilton.

The shift in the lineup reflects the team’s adaptability and the need to make quick adjustments in response to unforeseen challenges, ensuring they remain competitive in the New Zealand vs Pakistan T20 series.
