Pakistan Super League (PSL) player Mohammad Amir has asked the newly-elected Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, to step in after his family faced mistreatment during a match in Multan.

Amir claimed that the Deputy Commissioner of Multan acted arrogantly by asserting ownership of the ground and unfairly ejecting his family during the game.
It’s worth noting that this season, Amir is playing for Quetta Gladiators in PSL after leaving Karachi Kings.
Previously, retired fast bowler Amir mentioned that he currently has no plans to return to international cricket.
In an interview, the 31-year-old shared his enjoyment of playing in league cricket, saying, “I’m having fun playing league cricket, and international cricket is not something I’m thinking about.”
Amir also stressed the importance of making a significant impact in T20 cricket, saying, “My focus is not just on taking wickets but on playing a role that affects the outcome of the match.”
