Misbah Identifies a Flaw in Saim Ayub Batting Technique

Former Pakistan captain and coach Misbah-ul-Haq has spoken about a flaw he noticed in the young talent Saim Ayub batting technique. Ayub recently had his Test debut against Australia in Sydney.

Although Saim Ayub got out without scoring in the first innings, he caught everyone’s eye with his batting skills in the second innings. He made 33 runs from 53 balls, showing confidence by hitting a six off Mitchell Starc and hitting a boundary from Pat Cummins’ first delivery.

In a video on Misbah’s Facebook, he praised Ayub’s talent but suggested a small change in his technique, especially when facing fuller deliveries from pacers and spinners. Misbah mentioned that Ayub’s front leg movement might have caused some trouble and might have led to his dismissal.

Despite this, many cricket experts and players praised Ayub for his impressive batting against the Australians.

Ayub is now gearing up for the upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand, starting on January 12. People are curious about which batting position he’ll take, considering his previous No.4 slot.

In other news, Australia won against Pakistan in the third Test by eight wickets in Sydney. This marked the farewell Test for David Warner, who scored 57 runs in 75 balls, securing a victory and a series whitewash for Australia.
