Ravichandran Ashwin Reacts on ‘hypothetical battle’ with Javed Miandad

India’s star off-spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin, recently talked about hypothetical matches between old legends from Pakistan and India against today’s top players. Ashwin was set to face off Javed Miandad in this hypothetical battle.

He shared his thoughts on social media, discussing player battles and inviting fans to predict winners in these matchups.

Six face-offs were highlighted, including Ashwin against Pakistan’s Javed Miandad. Ashwin believed Miandad would win, praising his skills and wishing for a time machine to see them play.

Javed Miandad, the former Pakistani batter, had an impressive record against India, scoring 3403 runs in 63 matches, while Ashwin has only played limited-overs matches against Pakistan.

Ashwin has been nominated for the Test Cricketer of the Year Award 2023, boasting 41 wickets in seven Tests that year.

With 490 wickets in 95 Tests, including 42 five-wicket hauls, Ashwin’s recent game against South Africa yielded one wicket.

He gears up for the next series against England starting January 25 in Hyderabad.
