Muhammad Rizwan Takes on Vice-Captain Role in Pakistan's T20I Squad

Muhammad Rizwan Pakistani cricketer, the wicketkeeper-batsman, has been named the vice-captain for Pakistan’s T20I squad, as confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday.

He’ll support Shaheen Afridi during the upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand, set from 12th to 21st January across Auckland, Hamilton, Dunedin, and Christchurch.

Today, the Pakistan team arrived in Auckland from Sydney, gearing up for the series against New Zealand. Training sessions kick off tomorrow, marking their prep for the games.

It’s noteworthy that Pakistan recently faced a tough 3-0 defeat in a Test series against Australia.
