Babar Azam Pakistan Cricket Star and the captain of Peshawar Zalmi, gave credit to his mother for his century against Islamabad United in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.
Babar Azam Pakistan Star batter stated that it was the first time his mother came to watch a match, and she brought him luck. Babar Azam expressed his joy, stating that his mother enjoyed watching the match and her presence proved fortunate for him.

In the match, Babar Azam scored his 11th T20 century, and Arif Yaqoob took five wickets, helping Peshawar Zalmi secure an eight-run victory over Islamabad United in the 13th match of PSL 9.
After setting a target of 202 runs, Peshawar managed to restrict Islamabad to 193/9, securing their third consecutive win in the tournament.
Despite a strong partnership between Colin Munro and Azam Khan, Islamabad fell short of victory. However, Yaqoob’s exceptional performance, including four wickets in a single over, shifted the game’s momentum in Peshawar’s favor.
This marked the first instance in PSL history where a bowler took four wickets in one over, with Yaqoob finishing with impressive figures of 5/27.
