The Hundred Draft: 65 Pakistani Players Ready to Make Their Mark

In the upcoming 2024 The Hundred Draft happening on March 20th, 65 Pakistani cricketers have signed up to be selected. Among them, Usama Mir was retained by Manchester Originals and Haris Rauf by Welsh Fire.

Some big names like Hasan Ali and Naseem Shah are part of the draft with a starting price of £100,000. Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed have set their starting price at £75,000, while others like Mohammad Amir and Saim Ayub are starting at £60,000.

Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris, and Imad Wasim are in the draft with a starting price of £50,000, and others like Mir Hamza and Mohammad Hasnain start at £40,000.

46 Pakistani players haven’t set a starting price, including names like Salman Ali Agha and Umar Akmal.

In the women’s category, players like Iram Javed and Nida Dar have set their starting price at £17,500, while some like Aliya Riaz haven’t set a price.

In total, there are 245 local players and 389 overseas players in the draft. Each player has a minimum price, and once all teams have filled their slots at that price or higher, the player can’t be selected.

The fourth edition of The Hundred is set to begin on July 23rd.
