In the Pakistan vs England WCL fixture, Legends in green shirts outclassed England by 79 runs in the tenth match of the World Championship of Legends 2024 at the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. Pakistan become the first team to qualify for the semi-final of World Championship of Legends 2024.
The Pakistan team at WCL 2024 had played four matches and won all of these games. Pakistan first beat Australia, then the West Indies, India, and England.
However, Sohaib Maqsood and Shoaib Malik’s 121-run partnership set the stage for Pakistan to score a large total.
Malik scored 33 balls 51 while Maqsood scored 44 balls 64.
Abdul Razzaq scored 9 balls 20*, while captain Misbah-ul-Haq, who is guiding the team in Younis Khan, came up with 14 balls 23*.
With statistics of 2/25, Meaker proved to be England’s best bowler in the end.
Pakistan Clinches Second Win in World Championship of Legends 2024
While defending a target of 197 runs, Pakistan managed to grab an early wicket against England skipper Kevin Pietersen (4).

With Pakistan getting wickets consistently, no other batsmen were able to find success. We bowled out for 117 against England.
