From Latest PCB News, a recent development, in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has received two High-Performance Centres from the Government of Punjab to help nurture cricket talent. These centers, situated in Sialkot and Faisalabad, aim to improve cricket infrastructure.
According to a statement by the PCB, each High-Performance Centre boasts modern facilities designed to enhance the skills and performance of budding cricketers. Notable features include top-notch cricket grounds equipped to the highest standards, offering an ideal setting for training and matches.
The newly acquired High-Performance Centres are open to players of all ages and genders, expanding PCB’s total count to five. The other three centers include the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre in Karachi, and the Inzamam-ul-Haq High-Performance Centre in Multan.
The PCB plans to organize various events and coaching programs at these newly added centers.
Expressing gratitude, Nadeem Khan, Director of Domestic Cricket, thanked the Government of Punjab for their support. He highlighted that these modern facilities will significantly raise the bar for cricket training in Pakistan, providing players with access to top-notch infrastructure and resources to maximize their potential.
