The Pakistan Super League (PSL) management has confirmed that the online ticket booking platform for season nine has fallen victim to a recent cyberattack.
According to reports, the technical team is currently working to resolve the cyberattack on the website. “There has been a cyberattack on the PSL 9 ticketing website (pcb.tcs.com.pk). The ticketing partners’ technical team is addressing the issue efficiently. We expect a quick resolution and anticipate the website to be operational again soon,” stated PSL in their social media updates.
It’s worth noting that ticket sales were supposed to start on February 6 at 5:00 pm, but due to the cyberattack, there has been a delay.
In other news, it has been announced that physical tickets will be mandatory for all PSL 9 matches. E-tickets, including self-printed or digital copies, will not be accepted for entry at any of the four venues during the tournament.
Physical tickets will be available for purchase at designated TCS express centers starting from February 12, 2024. Additionally, tickets booked online can be collected from designated pick-up centers or delivered to homes by courier services.
