On Wednesday, a high-scoring thrilling game of ICC World Cup 2024 between USA vs South Africa at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound. The African team defeated the USA by 18 runs and got the top position in the points table of Super 8s.
South Africa posted a total of 195 runs target in 20 overs, from Proteas blowing unit Kagiso Rabada did an amazing job for the team and clinched three wickets in four overs.

After Harmeet (38 off 22) was out of the game, things became tough for the USA, who ended their innings at 176-6 in 20 overs. Gous used ten boundaries to score 80 off of 47.
Earlier, Reeza Hendricks continued his poor form and departed to the pavilion after only 11 runs, leaving his team 16-1 after 2.4 overs. South Africa, asked to bat first, did not have the best of starts.
Quinton de Kock, however, chose to take control of their innings and played his finest performance of the tournament, collecting 74 runs on 40 balls with the aid of seven fours and five sixes. Despite losing one wicket, the Proteas rallied quickly.
The 110-run stand between De Kock and captain Aiden Markram gave the Proteas the upper hand. South Africa lost wickets quickly after the wicketkeeper-batsman was dismissed, with David Miller (0) and Markram (46) going back to the pavilion.
