Pakistani Pacers Congratulate Arshad Nadeem Silver Medal Victory

Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan secured a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw at the World Athletics Championships held in Budapest. The conclusive match for the men’s javelin throw unfolded on Sunday, August 27th, with Neeraj Chopra from India clinching the prestigious gold medal.

Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf, the standout pace pairing from Pakistan, conveyed their congratulations to Arshad Nadeem for his silver medal triumph at the World Athletics Championship held on Sunday in Budapest, Hungary.

Shaheen said :

Furthermore, Haris Rauf added :

“It’s a proud moment for Pakistan. You deserve all the recognition. I congratulate you on this incredible achievement”.

Nadeem unleashed his most impressive throw of 87.82 meters, securing the coveted medal in his third endeavor.

India’s Neeraj Chopra secured the gold medal with a remarkable throw of 88.17 meters. Arshad claimed the second spot, while Jakub Vadlejch from the Czech Republic secured the third position with an 86.67-meter throw.

Arshad’s journey began with a modest start, reaching a distance of 74.80 meters. However, he swiftly regained his momentum, impressively launching the javelin to 82.81 meters in his second attempt.

Yet, it was Arshad’s third throw that marked a significant turning point, propelling the javelin as far as 87.82 meters—his best performance of the season.

Arshad’s silver medal achievement has also secured his qualification for the upcoming Olympics next year. Afridi extended his well-wishes to him for the upcoming grand event in Paris.
