Stokes, who joined CSK for a whopping 162.5 million Indian rupees ($1.95 million) in December 2022, recently emerged from retirement to play in the ODI World Cup held in India.

England is scheduled to participate in a challenging five-Test series in India just before the IPL, followed by the Twenty20 World Cup in June 2024.
It’s anticipated that the all-rounder will undergo knee surgery due to an existing issue, limiting his appearances for the Super Kings in 2023.
