Shubman Gill from India trails closely with 810 points, securing the second spot, while Virat Kohli stands third with 775 points.

Babar Azam climbed back to the summit as India’s opener Shubman Gill took a break from the ongoing series against South Africa.

Meanwhile, England’s Adil Rashid made a significant move, jumping two places to secure the top spot in the T20I bowling rankings, surpassing Rashid Khan of Afghanistan and Ravi Bishnoi from India.

This achievement marks Rashid as the second English player to claim the No.1 ranking for T20I bowlers after Graeme Swann held the position over a decade ago.

Suryakumar Yadav widened his lead with an impressive century in India’s recent series against South Africa, establishing a 100-point difference from his closest rivals, Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan and South Africa’s Aiden Markram.

Following Australia’s victory over Pakistan in the Perth Test, opener Usman Khawaja advanced three spots to fourth position in the Test batters’ rankings, edging closer to the top-ranked Kane Williamson.

David Warner and Mitchell Marsh also saw substantial improvements in their rankings after strong performances against Pakistan, moving up to 27th and equal 68th, respectively.

In the Test bowlers’ rankings, Australia’s captain Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood witnessed upward movements, while India’s Ravichandran Ashwin continues to dominate the top spot.
