Pakistan’s renowned batsman Babar Azam has once again secured the top spot in the ICC ODI rankings following the latest update issued on Wednesday. According to the ICC, Babar holds 824 rating points, reclaiming the prime position.
Shubman Gill from India trails closely with 810 points, securing the second spot, while Virat Kohli stands third with 775 points.
Babar Azam climbed back to the summit as India’s opener Shubman Gill took a break from the ongoing series against South Africa.
Meanwhile, England’s Adil Rashid made a significant move, jumping two places to secure the top spot in the T20I bowling rankings, surpassing Rashid Khan of Afghanistan and Ravi Bishnoi from India.
This achievement marks Rashid as the second English player to claim the No.1 ranking for T20I bowlers after Graeme Swann held the position over a decade ago.
