Pakistan not to Play ICC World Cup warm up Matches Confirmed

The complete schedule of ICC World Cup warm-up Matches is confirmed, Pakistan Team will not play any warm-up match. The Matches will start on May 27 and end on June 1. The venues for the ICC World Cup warm-up Matches will be in USA, Trinidad and Tobago.

This venue will organize a total of 16 games for warm-up matches. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 includes the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen’s Park Oval, and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

There will be 17 teams in the warm-up games, and on the 29th in Florida, South Africa will play an intra-squad match.

Team Pakistan and England will not have any game of warm-up matches, because of the 5-match T20 series from May 22 to May 30.

England Players are returning to their national duties, as players participated in IPL 2024. But as T20 World Cup 2024 is coming close English players are ditching IPL and focusing on series against Pakistan.

Team Pakistan will arrive in the USA on June 1 under the captaincy of Babar Azam and will be ready to face the host USA on June 6th in Dallas. However, England will start their T20 World Cup campaign on June 4.

The Black Caps will also not play any World Cup match and will straight play the World Cup match against Afghanistan on June 8.

Each team will play 20 overs in these warm-up matches, which do not have international T20 status. This means that teams can use their whole 15-player roster.

Depending on when they arrive at the event, teams may now opt to play up to two warm-up matches, which is a change from the previous cycle.
