The Pakistan Under-19 (U19) cricket squad, led by Saad Baig, has arrived in Dubai to participate in the ACC U19 Asia Cup.
They’re all set to begin practice sessions at the ICC Academy Dubai starting tomorrow.
The ACC U19 Asia Cup, happening from December 8 to 17, will unfold against Dubai’s lively backdrop. Matches leading up to the semifinals will be held at the ICC Academy Ground. The tournament’s final showdown is scheduled at the Dubai International Stadium.
Kicking off their campaign, the Pakistan U19 team is geared up for their first match against Nepal on December 8.
The squad of 15 members, recently finalized by the junior selection committee chaired by Sohail Tanvir, will face teams like India U19, Afghanistan U19, and Nepal U19 in Group A matches.
Preceding the squad’s selection, the Pakistan U19 hopefuls underwent a training camp at the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre in Karachi from November 24. Departing for Dubai on December 6, the team is all set for this exciting tournament.
