Pakistan’s Defeat Disappoints Fans in IND vs PAK World Cup 2024

In the most awaited match between arch-rivals, Ind vs PAK World Cup 2024 held at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Sunday. India defeated Pakistan by 6 runs.

Pakistan had a great start in the opening, In the first four Pakistan did not lose a wicket until the man of the match Jasprit Bumrah dismissed the Pakistani skipper Babar Azam on 13 runs.

Usman Khan came in after the captain got out and supported Mohammad Rizwan, but Rizwan lost his wicket to Axar Patel.
Pakistan needed a partnership in the middle overs, but none of the batters could provide it. Fakhar Zaman (13 off 8), Shadab Khan (4 off 7), and Imad Wasim (15 off 23) all got out without scoring big.

The match’s turning point was when Bumrah bowled Rizwan for 31 runs. Rizwan was in a strong position and looked like he could lead Pakistan to victory, but Bumrah stopped him.
Pakistan finished their innings at 113-7 in 20 overs. For India, Bumrah took three wickets, Hardik Pandya got two, and Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel took one each.
Earlier, in the first innings, Pakistani bowlers dominated the Indian batters and didn’t give them much room to score in one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament.
Pakistan started the match well, and Naseem Shah removed Virat Kohli in his first over for just four runs. In the next over, Shaheen Afridi got the wicket of Indian captain Rohit Sharma.
Axar Patel came in to bat at number four instead of Suryakumar Yadav to prevent a collapse. However, he too was removed by Naseem in the eighth over.
India looked good with Rishabh Pant and Yadav batting together, but Yadav was removed by Haris Rauf, which started the Indian collapse.
Soon after Yadav’s wicket, India lost more wickets quickly as Amir removed Pant (42 off 31) and Ravindra Jadeja in the 15th over.
Rauf did the remaining damage and the entire Indian team was all out for 119 runs in 19 overs.
