Shan refused to feature the Dafabet logo on his Yorkshire shirt collar. Shan recently had a two-year partnership agreement with the franchise. The betting company deal includes displaying the company logo on his shirt in all cricket formats.
In countries such as England, Australia, and several others, gambling is legally permitted. Dafabet previously sponsored Pakistan cricket as ‘Dafa News,’ using surrogate advertising tactics. However, due to stricter government regulations, surrogate advertising in Pakistan cricket has been banned.
