Babar Azam Father explained why he selected LPL over GT20 Canada

Babar Father explained why Babar selected LPL over GT20 Canada. Choosing one league over another was just for the betterment of the nation.

According to Skipper Babar Azam’s Father thing we do is plan for the wellness of the country.

Babar Azam remained in Sri Lanka to play in the Lanka Premier League (LPL). Just after Pakistan’s Test series against Sri Lanka came to an end. The Pakistani skipper had the choice of participating in the LPL or the Global T20 (GT20) Canada, but he chose LPL.

Babar has taken this to social media, and his father Azam Siddique has provided an explanation of why he chose LPL over GT20.

He claimed that even though both franchises gave him the same amount of money, GT20 required less effort in favorable weather.

The Lanka Premier League, which is for 25 days, and the Global T20 Canada league, which is for 10 to 16 days, will pay Babar the same amount of money, Babar informed me during the Sri Lanka Test series. While Sri Lanka is quite hot, the weather would also be excellent in Canada.

I suggested playing in Sri Lanka and mentioned the Asia Cup. He preferred his country despite working with heat during a recent game. He added:

All I want to say is that Pakistan should be the focus of all we do. Pakistan, long live Pakistan

After hitting 59 against B-Love Kandy, Babar Azam helped the Colombo Strikers earn their first victory in the competition. He received the Man of the Match award for his magnificent performance.

India and Pakistan will play an Asia Cup 2023 match on September 2 at Kandy’s Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

There may be two more One-Day Internationals (ODI) between the bitter rivals. If both teams reach Super 4s, they’ll play in Colombo on Sep 10. If both reach finals, the finals will be on Sep 17.
