In the third game of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine between Multan Sultans vs Karachi Kings at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Sultan secured a convincing 55-run victory over Karachi Kings.

Sultans’ bowlers put up a stellar performance, restricting Kings to 130/8 while defending a target of 186. Pacer Mohammad Ali impressed on his PSL debut, claiming three wickets by dismissing Daniel Sams, Hasan Ali, and Mir Hamza. David Willey and Abbas Afridi also contributed with two wickets each, while spinner Usama Mir remained economical, picking up one wicket.
For Karachi Kings, veteran Shoaib Malik was the top performer, scoring 54 runs off 35 balls. Skipper Shan Masood contributed 30 runs off 31 balls, while Kieron Pollard added some resistance with an unbeaten 28 runs.
In the batting department, Dawid Malan and Reeza Hendricks led the charge for Multan Sultans, registering brisk half-centuries to propel their team to a total of 185/2.
Despite an early setback with the dismissal of skipper Mohammad Rizwan, Malan and Hendricks formed a crucial partnership, with Malan scoring 52 runs off 41 balls and Hendricks remaining unbeaten with 79 runs off 54 deliveries. Khushdil Shah also played a vital cameo, scoring 28 runs off 13 balls.
Overall, it was a commanding performance by Multan Sultans, led by their strong batting display and disciplined bowling effort, securing a convincing victory over Karachi Kings in the PSL encounter.
