David Warner Request to Find Lost Baggy Green for Sydney Test

Australian opener David Warner took to social media to express distress over his missing baggy green, lost during transit from Melbourne.

The 37-year-old, set to retire after the Sydney Test, felt deeply saddened by the loss of his bag, particularly his cherished baggy green cap.

David Warner shared on Instagram that despite checking CCTV footage at the team hotel and with Qantas, he had no success in locating the missing items. His plea to the unidentified individual who took the backpack included a generous offer of a spare backpack in exchange for the return of his sentimental baggy green.

In response, Pakistan captain Shan Masood urged for a widespread search effort, suggesting involvement from the Australian government and top detectives to recover Warner’s prized caps.

Masood praised Warner’s contributions to cricket, emphasizing the significance of these caps to any cricketer and expressing hopes for their safe return to the retiring player.
