Pakistan Super League is in its ending stage where only two games are left behind. PCB may change the PSL Final venue due to not having good support from Karachi fans and low turn-out.
According to PSL 9 Scheduled the venue for elimination and PSL finals was decided was National Bank Stadium Karachi. However, Cricket fans from around the world are disappointed that without an entry fee, the crowd didn’t come to the stadium to cheer up the teams and players.
The Qualifier 1 game was played between Multan Sultan by Mohammad Rizwan vs Peshawar Zalmi by Babar Azam. In which the Sultan got an easy victory and went to the PSL 9 Final. This victory also made a unique record in that Multan was the only team playing 4th the PSL final back-to-back.
These were two big franchises in PSL, but the teams were playing in front of an empty stadium which was becoming a disturbing factor for the fans.
The PSL 9 was played across four venues that are Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Karachi. Besides Karachi, fans from the other three venues show a great interest in PSL 9.
When Karachi Kings was in the tournament PCB had no intention of moving the venue. Because National Bank stadium is considered Karachi’s home ground.
So According to some inside reports, there is no possibility that PCB change the venue. Because this thing becomes a problem for staff and teams.
Remember, this will be the first time a PSL final will be played on a Monday. All the previous eight editions saw the conclusion of the tournament on the weekend, however, the PSL 9 has a rest day on Sunday.
