In the tenth match of PSL 9 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Karachi Kings clinched a thrilling victory over Lahore Qalandars by two wickets.
The Kings successfully chased down the target of 176 runs on the last ball of the final over, handing Qalandars their fourth consecutive loss of the season.
In the final over, Hasan Ali and Irfan Khan Niazi were at the crease for the Kings, facing spinner Ahsan Bhatti’s bowling.

Hasan managed to hit an important six, checking the gap to five runs. Despite Haris Rauf’s incredible catch offering hope to Qalandars, Mir Hamza’s inside edge off the final delivery ensured the win for the Kings.
The Kings didn’t have a soft start to their chase, losing four wickets in the powerplay. However, Kieron Pollard and Shoaib Malik guided the innings with a partnership of 95 runs for the fifth wicket. Pollard played a great knock of 58 runs off 33 balls, while Malik contributed 39 runs off 32 balls. Irfan Khan stayed unbeaten on 12 runs off 10 balls.
Zaman Khan was the standout bowler for Qalandars, claiming figures of 2/19, while Haris Rauf took one wicket with 22 runs in his four-over spell.
Earlier, Lahore Qalandars, after opting to bat first, struggled against Karachi Kings’ bowling attack. Mir Hamza dismissed Fakhar Zaman early in the innings. Despite a solid partnership between Sahibzada Farhan and Rassie van der Dussen, Qalandars lost wickets regularly.
Farhan played a brilliant innings, remaining unbeaten on 72 runs off 45 balls. Shai Hope provided quick runs with a cameo of 21 runs off 13 balls. George Linde also contributed with 26 runs. However, Qalandars could only manage to reach 175 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
In the 10th game of PSL 9 for Karachi Kings, Hamza, Shamsi, and Hasan Ali claimed two wickets each, restricting Qalandars to a manageable total.
