In Today PSL match, Rassie van der Dussen from Lahore Qalandars hit the first century of the season, scoring 105 runs not out from 52 balls. Throughout the match, van der Dussen played exceptionally well, but he didn’t get enough support from his teammates. Shai Hope scored 29 runs, and Ahsan Bhatti added 20, but their contributions weren’t sufficient. Despite efforts from Jahandad Khan with 13 runs, the Qalandars finished at 203/6, unable to chase down Zalmi’s total of 212.

Van der Dussen’s innings included seven fours and five sixes, showing his attacking style of play. Despite his efforts, Peshawar Zalmi’s bowlers managed to restrict the Qalandars’ scoring. Naveen-ul-Haq took two wickets, while Paul Walter, Luke Wood, and Salman Irshad claimed one each.

In the first innings, Peshawar Zalmi’s batsmen dominated the Lahore Qalandars’ bowling attack. The opening pair of Babar Azam and Ayub set the tone with a strong partnership of 136 runs. Ayub was the top scorer for Zalmi with 88 runs, while Azam contributed 48. Rovman Powell also played a quick innings of 46 runs to help Zalmi post a challenging total.

Lahore Qalandars’ captain, Shaheen Shah Afridi, was the most successful bowler, taking three wickets for 33 runs, but it wasn’t enough to stop Peshawar Zalmi’s batting onslaught.
