Haris Rauf, Usama Mir, Zaman Khan gets NOCs to play BBL 13

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued limited No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to three players – Usama Mir, Haris Rauf, and Zaman Khan – for their participation in the upcoming season 13 of the Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia.

The PCB made this decision after carefully considering the players’ workload and future commitments, aiming to strike a balance, PCB said in a statement.

“The PCB believes this step serves the best interests of everyone involved by managing game time alongside workload,” stated the PCB in a press release.

PCB granted NOCs for a total of five matches to fast bowlers Haris Rauf and leg-spinner Usama Mir (Melbourne Stars). Emerging pacer Zaman Khan (Sydney Thunders) has been granted permission to play in four matches.

In a shift from the usual practice, these NOCs are customized for particular matches instead of covering the entire tournament.

To harmonize their BBL participation with national duties, these NOCs are limited within a specific timeframe. Pakistani cricketers are cleared to join Australia’s premier tournament from December 7 to December 28.
