Former Pakistani Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq hails India Key bowler Jasprit Bumrah as the winning factor for the blue team. Misbah said this after India beat Afghanistan in the Super 8 T20 World Cup 2024 match.
Misbah says that the world knows the Indian teams for their batting lineup and they win games just because of their batter strength. “Now they have one of the best bowling attacks currently.”
“If we look at the Cricket World Cup 2023, India had quality bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah is an outstanding bowler in any condition whether it is white-ball or red-ball cricket he plays. He swings the new ball and his defensive bowling skills — yorker or slower ones — and the most important thing he has is his control. He is an amazing reader of the game,” Misbah said while talking on a local sports channel.
Because he consistently takes wickets for his squad, the former captain of the Indian team referred to Buffer as an X-factor.

“He gives India an edge and when you have an X-factor like him in your bowling, it adds to the pressure on the other team and an element of confidence in your team.
“Previously, India’s opponents would win the toss and call India to bat first and the panic would be visible on them that we are now out of a position of strength but now India is a team who believes that we can now defend a small total and they did that against Pakistan. They are now a complete bowling attack.”
In the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, India was playing against Pakistan and had set a target of 120. The Men in Green were seven runs shy of the mark as their bowlers held the total.

In the match, Bumrah claimed three wickets for 13 runs, including the wickets of Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam and batsman-wicket Muhammad Rizwan. Iftikhar Ahmed was his third victim of dismissal.
Bumrah grabbed two wickets in India’s opening match against Ireland, while he did not take any in the match against the USA. Rain in Florida caused the cancellation of India’s most recent match versus Canada.
