Sarfaraz Ahmed Thinks Mohammad Amir Should return to Pakistan Cricket

Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batter Sarfaraz Ahmed has voiced his support for pacer Mohammad Amir inclusion in the national side following his outstanding bowling performance in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.

Amir, who has taken two wickets in two matches, plays alongside Sarfaraz for Quetta Gladiators in PSL 9. The pacer’s skill in death bowling has been particularly valuable for the Gladiators.

Sarfaraz expressed his respect, saying:

The addition of Mohammad Amir has made a significant impact. He’s been bowling exceptionally well and brings a wealth of T20 experience.”

“I’ve always believed in Amir’s potential to contribute to Pakistan’s team. His future with the national side depends on his own mindset and goals,” Sarfaraz added.

Sarfaraz also shared his positiveness about Quetta’s performance after securing two wins in PSL 9. “It’s still early to make predictions, but we have a strong team dynamic. If we keep our current form, we can expect favorable results,” he said.

Addressing his sub as Quetta’s captain by South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw, Sarfaraz said contentment, stating, “I’m relaxed and enjoying my role in the team. Rilee Rossouw is leading the side actually.”
