Renowned Pakistani singer Ali Zafar is all set to return triumphantly as the official anthem singer for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine. The news, which was hinted at a few days ago, has now been officially confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The announcement was made on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), where the PSL franchise league shared a video featuring Ali Zafar playing the melody of one of his previous PSL anthems, “Ab Khel Jamay Ga.”

Alongside the video, the caption hinted at the excitement for the upcoming anthem for HBL PSL 9.
Ali Zafar, who had contributed his musical talents to the first three seasons of the HBL PSL, faced a career setback in 2018 due to controversy. However, this season marks a significant comeback for the artist as he gears up to reclaim the spotlight with the official anthem for PSL season nine, scheduled to kick off on February 17.
