The matches have shifted from Kandy to the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo due to adverse weather conditions.

The decision to relocate the matches was after a thorough examination of the weather forecast and the potential for rain to disrupt the games. This decision to all members of the ACC, led by Mr. Shah, via email.

 

However, shortly thereafter, the ACC retracted the email, stating that the matches would proceed in Colombo as originally scheduled.

Pakistan and India will have a rematch on September 10th after the first match ended in a draw due to rain. Fans can finally witness the complete match.
