Bangladesh Claims Victory Against Pakistan in U19 Tri-Nation T20 Series

In the latest match of the U19 Tri-Nation T20 Series, Bangladesh Women U19 clinched a victory over Pakistan Women U19 by 36 runs at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan suffered their first defeat in the tournament after their opening match against Sri Lanka got canceled due to rain. Bangladesh Women U19 won the toss and chose to bat first, posting a total of 136-4 in their allotted 20 overs.

Anosha took two wickets for Pakistan, while Maham and Mahnoor each claimed one. In response, Pakistan Women U19 could only manage 100 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs.

Eyman Fatima top-scored with 39 runs, supported by Samiya Afsar with 25 runs. Afia Asima Era took two wickets for Bangladesh, while Faria Akhtar and Khan secured one each.

The next match for the Mahnoor Aftab-led Pakistan side is against Sri Lanka Women U19 on January 30, 2024. Bangladesh Women U19’s Rabeya Khan was named the Player of the Match for her performance.
