The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) is checking the Usman Khan Cricketer statement about playing from Pakistan will break the central contract with UAE Board.
According to reports from ESPNcricinfo, the Emirates Board is carefully reviewing the central contract of Usman Khan Cricketer in white-ball formats and checking the leagues like ILT20 and T10.
The result of these reports will be finalized by officials in a fortnight and it will be important for Usman Khan.
He is expected to face a ban from the ECB to participate in any UAE Cricket League.
If the contract breaks, it will affect the player’s personal life from residency to stay, also the work permit shows that Usman Khan is a resident of UAE and is a member of the UAE Cricket Team. However, he still has 4 months remaining before matching this standard.
Usman Khan can say he didn’t break any contract with ECB because his contract allowed him a 30-day duration notice. Although he is ready for any punishment from the ECB.
Usman is very happy and excited to play cricket from the pakistan side, after his record-breaking performance in PSL 9. When the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed from Usman he was still willing to play for the Pakistan team.
On Monday, Usman was selected from the Pakistani Squad and joined the other 28 members in a training camp organized at Kakaul. The mentioned training camp comes under the Pakistan military as a part of PCB’s ambition to check player strengths and fitness.
Furthermore, In an Interview with the same publication, Usman looked to downplay his chances of joining the green team. He also highlighted that it’s very easy for UAE players to get NOC to participate in different Cricket leagues around the world and also tell about the big advantages provided by the ECB to players.
