Pakistan’s talented pacer, Hasan Ali, has set his sights on making a mark in the Indian Premier League (IPL), despite the prolonged ban on Pakistani cricketers participating in the tournament since its inception in 2008.
The ban, initially imposed after the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, has barred Pakistan cricket stars from showcasing their talent on the IPL platform for over a decade.

In a recent interview with a local news channel, Hasan expressed his eagerness to break this barrier and represent an Indian Premier League franchise.
“Every player dreams of playing in the IPL, and I also wish to join the league. It’s a major global event, and if the chance comes, I’ll grab it” Hasan Ali stated.
The ban has prevented several well-known Pakistani cricketers like Shoaib Malik, Shoaib Akhtar, Kamran Akmal, Sohail Tanvir, Shahid Afridi, and others from participating in subsequent IPL editions after the inaugural tournament.
