Pakistan’s wrist spinner, Usama Mir Shines for Melbourne Stars BBL 13. The match against Sydney Sixers at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) showcased Mir’s talent as he clinched three crucial wickets, limiting the Sixers to just 154 runs.

Usama Mir’s impressive performance saw him dismissing Daniel Hughes, Moises Henriques (the Sixers’ captain), and Jordan Silk, providing a much-needed boost for the Stars when the Sixers were struggling at 45/4 in 8.4 overs.

While Mir showed his prowess, James Vince from the Sixers put up a fierce fight, notching a rapid 83 off 53 balls with 10 boundaries, ensuring the Sixers set a competitive total.

At the time of reporting, the Stars were in the midst of their chase at 37/1 in five overs, aiming for the target of 155. Mir was joined by his national teammates, Haris Rauf and Imad Wasim, with Imad playing his inaugural match for the Stars after joining the team recently.

Imad Wasim bowled without taking a wicket, conceding 34 runs in four overs, while Rauf managed to grab three wickets, giving away 38 runs in his spell.
