Pakistan's World Cup Preparation Starts with First Training Session in India

Pakistan World Cup Training Session Starts at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday.

The Pakistan men’s cricket team arrived in Hyderabad, India, on Wednesday from Dubai to take part in the major sporting event.

This marked Pakistan’s initial training session upon their arrival in India for the ICC World Cup 2023.

The majority of the Pakistani players, including captain Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Iftikhar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali, actively participated in the session.

During the session, the players started with warm-up exercises and fielding drills on the stadium grounds. Afterward, they proceeded to the practice nets for batting and bowling practice.

In preparation for the upcoming tournament, Pakistan is gearing up to play a warm-up match against New Zealand, scheduled for Friday in Hyderabad.

Green Team will play two warm-up matches before beginning their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on October 6.

Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are set to clash in a mouth-watering October 14 contest in Ahmedabad.
