The Pakistan cricket team players decided to spread holiday cheer by gifting a heartfelt Christmas presents to the Australian players during an indoor practice session ahead of the upcoming second Test in Melbourne.
A heartwarming video capturing this gesture went viral on social media, revealing the camaraderie shared between the players. Australian skipper Pat Cummins was visibly touched by the thoughtful gifts, expressing his gratitude,
“That was just great. Just Merry Christmas gifts and lollipops for the kids. So that was great. We’ve got a good relationship with the Pakistan side. That tour a couple of years ago was really special as well. So really kind and thoughtful of their group to think of us.”
Additionally, the Pakistan Cricket Board hosted an event including Christmas presents or dinner at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, attended by Chairman Management Committee Mr. Zaka Ashraf, other top PCB officials, and Christian employees.
Addressing the guests, Mr. Zaka Ashraf conveyed his heartfelt greetings, saying, “I extend my heartfelt greetings to all those celebrating Christmas in Pakistan and around the world.
