Will Pakistan Host the Blind Cricket T20 World Cup Later This Year?

Pakistan has been chosen to host the upcoming Blind Cricket T20 World Cup, set to take place from November 20 to December 3 this year.

The decision was made at the annual meeting of the World Blind Cricket Council in Dubai, led by Syed Sultan Shah.

Eight countries, including New Zealand, South Africa, and India, have confirmed their participation, while Australia’s participation is still uncertain.

Additionally, India will host the first Women’s Blind T20 World Cup in December 2025. During the meeting, amendments to the rules of blinds cricket were approved unanimously to enhance the game’s fairness.

In recent cricket action, India defeated Pakistan in a T20 series in Dubai.

Pakistan batted first, with M Salman scoring 74 runs and M Rashid contributing 32. India chased down the target of 193 runs, winning the series 2-1.
