Today, the ICC and local organizing committees will finalize the complete schedule for this mega event. While the final venue remains unconfirmed, there’s a possibility it might happen in Barbados, known for hosting previous World Cup finals in 2007 and 2010 T20 tournaments.

Numerous venues across the Caribbean, including Antigua, St Lucia, St Vincent, Guyana, and Trinidad, are slated to hold matches during this tournament.

Central Broward Park in Florida, Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas, and Eisenhower Park on Long Island are potential hosts for matches in the USA.

As the defending champions of the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia, England secured victory by defeating Pakistan in the final match.

The 2024 edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup promises fresh excitement with its expanded format. With 20 teams participating, the tournament will have two stages before the knockout phase, a departure from the previous First Round/Super 12 setup.

Teams will begin in four groups of five, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super Eights phase. Here, the remaining teams will form two groups of four and the top two from each group will progress to the semi-finals.

This revamped format is expected to introduce new match-ups and create significant moments in the history of T20 cricket.
