Pakistan Hockey Team played the cup final against Japan and lost on penalty strokes by 4-1. In the field time, both teams were 2-2. The Japanese team goalkeeper was brilliant and saved two penalties that became the reason for their winning.

Ryoma Ooka gave Japan the advantage in the shootout, and his teammates carried the momentum by earning the remaining three points.

Pakistan scored two goals in the third quarter before Japan mounted a comeback to tie the game at two. In minute 47, Kazumasa Matsumoto scored another goal.

Pakistan overcame a late deficit in the third quarter thanks to goals from Abdul Rehman and Ajaz Ahmed, who both scored in the 34th and 37th minutes.

Seren Tanaka scored the first goal in the final for the Japan team in the first quarter in the 12th minute and took the lead.

It is important to remember Pakistan hocket team has qualified for the first time in the last 13 years.

Japan remained on the top with 13 points as they won four matches and drew only one while Pakistan stayed in the second position with 11 points.
