England World Cup Squad Announced, Jofra Archer returns

The defending champions England World Cup squad has been revealed, A 15-member set of players is announced for the 2024 T20 World Cup in West Indies and the USA. The surprising element for cricket fans is that fast Bolwer Jofra Archer has made his return to the England World Cup Squad.

The 20-team tournament is scheduled to be played in the West Indies and the United States of America (USA) from June 2 to 29. England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) press release stated.

“Jofra Archer has recovered from his right elbow injury and is named in the squad. Archer’s last appearance at this level came over a year ago in England’s tour of Bangladesh in March 2023”

Before missing last year’s T20Is due to the aforementioned elbow injury, he took 18 wickets in 15 T20Is for England.
