Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al Maliki, the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Pakistan, announced that the Pakistan Cricket Team World Cup 2024 Victory will make them the royal guest of Hajj next year.

Pakistan Team is in the USA and preparing for the upcoming World Cup fixture against the USA on June 6 in Dallas. Pakistan Team is in Group A  alongside arch-rivals India, host United States Ireland, and Canada.
The senior Saudi official also sent his best wishes for the massive cricket gala to the Men in Green in a unique video greeting that was made public on Sunday.

“My message to my brothers of the Pakistan cricket team is that God willing, you will win this tournament,” Maliki said. “The Pakistani people will celebrate the team’s success in the World Cup.”

“I am also praying for Pakistan’s prosperity and development. After winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistani team will be the royal guest on Hajj next year.”

They have since gone on to nearly win the championship twice, in 2021 and 2022. Despite coming close to winning the match, Australia defeated Pakistan in the semi-final of the 2021 T20 World Cup thanks to Matthew Wade’s brilliant play down the order.

In the meantime, Pakistan fell to England in the 2022 T20 World Cup final at the storied Melbourne Cricket Ground. Ben Stokes, the star of the 2019 ODI World Cup for England, rose to the occasion once more and easily defeated Jos Buttler’s team.
