In PSL Match Today, Multan Sultans clinched a commanding victory over Karachi Kings by 20 runs at the National Bank Cricket Arena, securing the first playoff spot in Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.

Mohammad Rizwan’s squad successfully contained the home team, limiting them to 169/7 after setting a formidable target of 189/3, propelled by Usman Khan’s unbeaten 109*.

Facing a challenging chase of 190, the Kings fought hard but could only muster 169 runs, losing seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

The Kings endured a shaky start, losing two early wickets within the powerplay, with just 28 runs on the board.

Despite a brief partnership between skipper Shan Masood and Shoaib Malik, the Kings faltered, losing wickets at regular intervals.

Veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik top-scored with a valiant 38, while Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz provided late resistance, but it wasn’t enough to secure a victory for the Kings.

For the Sultans, Usama Mir led the bowling attack with two wickets, supported by contributions from David Willey, Chris Jordan, Khushdil Shah, and Mohammad Ali.

Earlier, Multan Sultans, opting to bat first, amassed a challenging total, anchored by a superb partnership between captain Rizwan and Usman Khan.

The duo’s resilient stand propelled the Sultans to a formidable score, with Usman Khan’s explosive century being the highlight of the innings.

Despite late wickets, Usman Khan’s unbeaten century ensured a daunting target for the Kings, ultimately leading the Sultans to a comprehensive victory in today’s PSL Match.
