Pakistan Super League drafts will be announced very soon, but there is news circulating regarding Australian Player Glenn Maxwell is excited to join PSL Season 9.
The Pakistan Super League Drafts are ready to occur in Lahore on 14th December. Glenn Maxwell who is known for his power-hitting, recently played an impressive innings of 104 runs on just 48 deliveries. This innings of Maxwell helped the Australian team to move towards victory in a thrilling game of T20 on Tuesday, November 28.
Maxwell’s entry into Pakistan Laeuge can make a great impact on the tournament. It’s not confirmed yet whether the hitter will take part or not. No official news has been released regarding it just rumors are moving around.
Along with Maxell, there are rumors that David Warner also plays PSL 9. Not only that Many top foreign players such as England’s David Malana and James Vince, Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai, South Africa’s Rassive van der Dussen, and Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan are confirmed for PSL 2024.
Additionally, there’s talk of various players possibly switching teams in the upcoming PSL season, with names like Naseem Shah, Hasan Ali, and Imad Wasim circulating as potential movers.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already outlined the draft pick order for PSL 9. The first pick belongs to Quetta Gladiators, followed by Karachi Kings and Islamabad United. Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans will make the fourth and fifth picks, respectively, while Lahore Qalandars, winners of the last two editions, will close the first round with the sixth pick.
The PCB had earlier opened the registration window for foreign players. The PSL’s flagship event is tentatively scheduled to run from February 8 to March 24, 2024.
