Out of the registered players, 20 are in the platinum category, with a strong representation from England.
The PSL draft is set to happen at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
PSL 9 is tentatively scheduled to kick off from February 8 to March 24, 2024.
The local player category updates for the upcoming ninth edition were finalized on November 10, upgrading nine players’ categories.
The registration for foreign players opened on October 25, drawing interest from top-notch players around the globe.
Currently, the trade and retention window remains open.
Initial reports suggested that two countries are vying to host some PSL 9 matches.
Sources indicate that elections in Pakistan, UAE, and South Africa might host the opening matches of PSL.
